How we look after your information

1 Introduction

Hushify ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through hushify.ie, why we collect it, and the choices you have — in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2 What We Collect

When you fill in our booking enquiry form, we collect: your name, email address, event date, chosen package, delivery location (town or Eircode), approximate guest count, and any message you write to us.

If you accept cookies (see below), we also collect standard advertising and analytics data such as which page you arrived from and general interactions on the site — this doesn't include your name or email unless you've also submitted the booking form.

3 How We Use It

We use the information from your booking enquiry solely to respond to you, check availability, and arrange your silent disco hire. We don't use it for anything else, and we don't sell it.

Where you've accepted cookies, we use the resulting data to understand how people find and use our site, and to measure whether our Google Ads campaigns are bringing in genuine enquiries — this helps us spend our advertising budget sensibly rather than to build a profile of you individually.

4 Cookies & Tracking

We only load Google Ads and analytics cookies if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you click "Decline" or don't respond, none of these are set, and the site works exactly the same either way.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's site data for hushify.ie, which will bring the cookie banner back on your next visit.

5 Who We Share It With

Our booking form is processed by Netlify, our website hosting provider, purely to deliver your enquiry to us by email — they don't use it for any purpose of their own.

Where you've accepted cookies, Google processes the resulting advertising and analytics data under its own privacy terms.

We don't sell, rent, or otherwise share your information with anyone else.

6 How Long We Keep It

We keep booking enquiry details for as long as reasonably needed to arrange your event and handle any follow-up (such as returning a security deposit or resolving a query), and delete them when there's no longer a good reason to keep them.

7 Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to ask us what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. To do any of these, just email us (details below).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Ireland's Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) if you believe your data hasn't been handled properly.
